hongqiao int zsss is one of the busiest airports in china and one of the most popular destinations for either mainland or overseas travelers. before the expo, they had a major renovation project that was just finished. this is a good opportunity to give it a try. i’ve already downloaded the scenery, but haven’t had a chance to actually play it. the scenery is very well done, but a few minor points: there is a “finished” runway on the southern side of the airport, not the northern one. it was probably there before the renovation but was covered up. there are also several buildings on the west side of the runway, you can see them in the screenshot. they really stand out in the scenery, but it might be because the sun is in your eye. they also look quite odd in the screenshot. there is a “sandy” area on the eastern side of the airfield where the runway meets the taxiway. it is not a nice sandy area, i believe it was added recently, but you can get by without it.
